Spring time!

So it was very sunny (and quite warm) a few ago, Tuesday to Thursday to be exact. Really, it was like in the middle of spring here, and it was great! But now the weathers all cold blah. ;; I can't wait till summer, I really want warm weather. xD
I started this a few weeks ago in school and I've been having sort of an art block this week so I decided to just try this.
And omg. I'm so proud of this like asdfghjk. I think this is a big step closer for me to improve at realism!
This took me almost 4 hours, actually shorter than I expected. I didn't think I'd be able to finish it before half falling asleep. xD 
The fur took me a long time, too but I enjoyed it! 
I'm certainly going to try more realism, I love it. I want to try more perspectives for drawing cats realistic, like from above. Or more poses, like the cat jumping or stalking. 
For other animals, I'll just try simple poses, but I'm definatly willing to put more effort into the fur. xD
By the way, aaaas usual, I had a hard time drawing the background, because I did not know what to draw for it first. Then I searched on ''Spring flowers'' And ''Cats in spring'' on google and found this picture of a kitten sitting with the flowers I drew in the background, that's where I got the background idea from. xD The pose was made all by myself this time, though! 'Cause like I mentioned, I started the sketch and some of the colouring at school. fklvdlaknd I'm proud of this aah

The cat isn't really a character, it's just a tabby ^.^
